A new Pepsi ingredients plant at Little Island in Cork could generate up to 50 more jobs over coming years.
The hi-tech facility will produce food ingredients for export to the various PepsiCo manufacturing plants outside Ireland. It goes into full production next September.
PepsiCo employs over 600 people throughout Ireland.
Meanwhile, more than 100 jobs are to be created over the next three years as part of a new wave of multi-million euro company funding supported by Enterprise Ireland.
Global mobile connectivity firm Cubic Telecom, based in Dublin, expects to create more than 70 jobs.
Advant Medical in Galway will create 34 jobs.
And Dublin-based tech firm Voice Sage will create 10 jobs over the next 24 months.
