Gerard 'Jock' Davison murder: Man arrested in connection with 'overall investigation'

A 25-year-old man has been arrested by detectives investigating the murder of Gerard 'Jock' Davison.

The former IRA leader was shot dead in the Markets area of south Belfast.

The 47-year-old father-of three was on his way to his local community centre where he worked when he was attacked on Tuesday May 5.

Police said the man has been arrested in "connection with the overall investigation" and has been taken to Antrim Serious Crime Suite for questioning.
