Gardai renew appeal after woman attacked on way to work by 'man in hoodie'

Gardai in Swords have renewed their appeal for witnesses to an incident that happened last Sunday, November 13.

A woman was walking to work on the R132 close to the Seatown Road and the Seatown Roundabout (known locally as Woodies Roundabout) at 6.45am when she was assaulted by a man wearing a grey hoodie.

She received minor injuries during the incident and managed to get away from the man and was helped by a passing cyclist.

Gardai in Swords are again appealling for witnesses, they are particularly interested in speaking to a number of people who stopped and assisted the woman after she was assaulted.

It is believed two taxi men assisted, one man in a red/maroon four-door saloon type car and the second taxi man had a fare on board.

Two men also assisted who were in a recovery type vehicle with flashing red lights on the back.
