Gardai link gun attack to local dispute
GARDAI believe a shooting incident in west Dublin is linked to a local dispute.
Seven bullets were fired into the windscreen of a car with three occupants, shortly after midnight yesterday in Ballyfermot.
Officers believe the likely target of the attack was Daniel Kavanagh (27), who was sitting in the front passenger seat. He suffered superficial wounds to his shoulder and received medical attention, but did not require hospital treatment.
The female driver of the silver Nissan Almera car and Mr Kavanagh's brother, David, who was sitting in the back, escaped injury.
