A man has been arrested after gardai discovered a cannabis grow-house with over 150 plants at an inner city flat in Dublin.

The 34-year-old man was arrested at the scene as part of an ongoing operation by gardai into the sale and supply of controlled substances.

The flat on Dorset Street, Dublin 1 was searched today.

Gardai discovered a grow-house with 167 cannabis plants with an approximate street value of €133,600 (subject to analysis) and a sophisticated cultivation system.

The man is currently being detained under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 as amended.
