Gardai can't find suicide complaint
GARDAI have yet to trace the formal complaint made by the Irish Association of Suicidology about alleged financial irregularities.
The association says the complaint was lodged by one of its directors last Saturday.
But officers say they have been unable to find it.
A spokeswoman for the association confirmed it was believed that money was missing from accounts and that an association employee had been suspended during an internal investigation.
Officials are currently conducting an audit of their accounts to determine how much money is missing.
Initial estimates put the amount at €28,000 but sources said the figure could be higher.
