Garda probe after man found dead

A man has been found dead at a house in a rural part of Kerry.

Gardai said the 43-year-old was found dead at the home near Rathmore, near the border with Co Cork at about 8pm on Tuesday night.

The man's body remains at the scene and staff from the State Pathologist's office have been asked to carry out preliminary examinations at the home.

Gardai from Kanturk are investigating.
