Gardaí close N52 road following serious collision overnight - while M50 incident causes delays
Gardaí have closed the N52 road between Kilcormac and Blue Ball in Co Offaly following a serious crash this morning.
Emergency services are at the scene of the incident on the Nenagh/Tullamore road.#
A man in his late thirties was killed when the car he was driving left the road and struck a tree.
Diversions are now in place, AA Roadwatch reports.

A separate crash occurred on the Old Road (R445) at M7 southbound at J23 Moneygall, near the Barack Obama plaza.
Gardaí are currently at the scene.
An incident on the M50 southbound at Junction 13 Ballinteer is causing delays in the area, as well as a crash northbound at J6 Blanchardstown.
Meanwhile, in Cork, the main street in Ballinacurra is closed following a fire. Morning traffic from Midleton and Cloyne is being diverted through Scarriff.
Motorists in Wexford are being warned a stop-go system on the N11 outside Wexford town is expected to cause some delays today.
It will be in place from 9am to 5pm.
