GARDAI have today renewed their appeal for information after the death of a father of four in mysterious circumstances.

The body of Kieran Callaghan, (50), was found at his home in the village of Churchill, Co Donegal on Sunday.

He was last seen on Friday past in the Churchill area around 6pm.

Gda Inspector Michael Harrison told a press conference this evening that the results of a post mortem from State Pathologist Dr Marie Cassidy had led to the investigation.

However he said he didn’t want to give any further details ‘for operational reasons’.

He appealed to anyone who saw Mr Callaghan between last Thursday and Sunday past to contact Gardai.

The dead man was well-known in the area and worked as a bus driver at Glenveagh National Park.

Anyone with information or who can assist with the investigation is asked to contact Milford Garda Station on 074-9153060, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.
