Garda appeal after man dies in road crash
Gardaí have appealed for witnesses following a single-vehicle fatal crash in Co Louth.
At around 2.20am gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a single-car crash at Ballybinaby near Hackballscross.
The occupant of the car, a 23-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
His body has since been removed to the mortuary at Louth County Hospital.
The scene is preserved for examination by Garda forensic collision investigators. The coroner was notified.
