Fuel spills, traffic lights out of action and a number of collisions - rush hour traffic updates from across the country

Motorists travelling in Carlow and Clare are being advised to take care following fuel spills earlier this morning.

There was a fuel spill on the Carlow to Tullow Rd near Grangeford this and on the Galway to Limerick Rd between the J13 Tulla Rd and J11 Dromoland in Clare.

Gardai are at both scenes.

Meanwhile, traffic lights have been out of action for most of the morning on Collins Avenue in Dublin at the Grace Park Rd junction.

Drivers are being advised to approach with care.

There has also been an incident in the hard shoulder of the M50 southbound at the Ballymun exit.

Earlier this morning, there was a collision at the J7 Lucan exit on the M50 southbound which has since been cleared.

A collision on the N81 Dublin to Baltinglass Rd near Poulaphuca has also been cleared.
