Lisa McGee, creator of 'Derry Girls', will pen her first venture since the hit with a drama called 'The Deceived'. Meanwhile, Adrian Dunbar returns for season two of internationally acclaimed series 'Blood'.
Dublin's gangland will feature heavily throughout the season with 'Darklands', a new drama focusing on an aspiring mixed martial arts fighter and his involvement in crime.
It will see 'Cardboard Gangsters' writer Mark O'Connor make his debut in TV drama.
In news and current affairs, 'Inside The Guards' will shine a light into the everyday life of a garda in Dublin's District K as they tackle gangland crime.
