Fresh arrest made in Quinn murder probe

A MAN was being questioned by gardai last night over the murder of Paul Quinn.

The man, who is in his 50s, became the 11th person to be arrested by detectives investigating the truck driver's murder.

Mr Quinn (21), from Cullyhanna, Co Armagh, was beaten to death in an isolated shed near Oram, Co Monaghan, last October.

Gardai said the latest arrest was made in the Dundalk area and that the man had been taken to Monaghan garda station for questioning.

He is the seventh person arrested by gardai, while five others have been arrested by the PSNI.

No one has been charged in connection with the murder to date.

Last month four men were arrested and questioned in Co Monaghan in connection with the death before being released.
