Four held in Dublin over cash-in-transit raid
THREE men and a woman have been arrested over a hijack robbery.
The four, all aged in their 20s, were detained across Dublin this morning over a heist in the city centre on February 1.
They are being held in the Bridewell, Pearse Street, Raheny and Mountjoy Garda stations under section four of the Criminal Justice Act.
Gardai said the robbery was a cash-in-transit attack at 8.05am on St Mary's Place when two men in balaclavas approached a car carrying a large amount of money and smashed a window with a hammer.
The driver fought with the men before the cash was taken.
