Four arrested in Michael Kelly murder investigation
FOUR people have been arrested in the investigation into the murder of Michael Kelly.
The one man and three women (aged between mid-30s to 40s) were arrested this afternoon.
They are being detained at Pearse St, Kilmainham and Kevin St Garda stations under the provisions of section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
Michael Kelly was shot last Monday morning, 15 July, at Grand Canal Place, Dublin 8, an area known locally as the Dry Canal.
He was shot dead close to the Luas tram line at approximately 10.30am in the morning.
Kelly (27) was pronounced dead at the scene and Gardai appealed to Luas passengers who may have seen anything to contact them.
