Concert raises €30,000 for flood victims

A gala concert has raised more than €30,000 for the victims of the floods that devastated communities in Co Donegal last month.
Leading the festivities yesterday afternoon were country singers Daniel O'Donnell and Nathan Carter, who performed before a packed Aura Leisure Centre in Letterkenny.
The funds raised will go to the Red Cross, which is helping those worst affected by the floods in the Inishowen region.
A number of families were left homeless by the devastating floods, while numerous businesses were destroyed.
