FG website relaunches with Enda graffiti poster

The new Fine Gael website, back online last night a week after being hacked, now features a graffiti-style poster of Enda Kenny.

In the first hour of its re-emergence, there were two attempted hacks from France and China but the website stayed up.

A spokesman said the posters were available so people could print them off and stick them in their windows to show support for the party. Thumbnail images for use by FG supporters on Twitter and Facebook have also been uploaded.

The Data Protection Commissioner and the FBI were called in this week after the hackers accessed details of almost 2,000 subscribers.

The website is designed to allow people give their opinions on what needs to be done -- but people were last night giving their opinions on the party leadership. "Enda, I'll vote for FG if you stand down and let Richard or Leo lead the party," David from Dublin said.
