FG chief whip Kehoe mourns loss of father
SYMPATHIES have been extended to Government chief whip Paul Kehoe following the death of his father.
Myles Kehoe passed away yesterday morning in Wexford General hospital after enduring a period of illness. He was aged 85.
Mr Kehoe was highly respected in his native county Wexford where he was actively involved in GAA.
He was also a political activist and a farmer by trade.
Mr Kehoe is survived by his wife Bernadette and children.
Fine Gael chairman and Limerick TD Dan Neville last night extended his sympathies on behalf of the party.
"The death of a parent is a very traumatic time in a person's life," Mr Neville told the Irish Independent.
"It's also a break as well with a very important part of their life - their childhood and youth," he added.
