A FATHER whose teenage daughter took her own life after being targeted by online bullies is set to do a charity cycle in her memory.

Jonathan Pugsley, whose daughter Ciara (15) died in September 2012 after being abused online, says he wants to raise €10,000 to help prevent other deaths. He plans to cycle the 600km journey from Mizen Head to Malin Head.

Mr Pugsley is hoping to raise thousands of euro for Console, the national suicide prevention charity. "It will be very emotional. I've shed tears over it already. But I have to do something to help others," he said.

Anyone who would like to sponsor Mr Pugsley can do so at mycharity.ie/event/jonathan_pugsleys_event.
