Foodies and fashionistas alike will be descending on Sligo in November for the inaugural International Fashion and Food Summit.

Themes for the festival's first run will include the re-imagination and reinvention of Irish produce, as well as taking a look at some of the lessons Ireland can learn from other food cultures, such as in Italy.

Taking place from November 3-5, the event will feature commentary from Ireland's only resident female Michelin-starred chef, Danni Barry, from Eipic in Belfast. Meanwhile, for festival-goers who are keen followers of fashion, there will be a number of workshops given by experts in a range of fields, including photography, design and marketing.

The festival will close with a gala dinner and awards ceremony at the Radisson Blu in Sligo, hosted by former Rose of Tralee Maria Walsh. Tickets are available on iiffs.ie or from Eventbrite.
