GARDAÍ have conducted a number of searches in Cork in a bid for clues as to what happened to a woman now missing from her home for 11 weeks.
Tina Satchwell (45) disappeared from her home in Youghal, Co Cork on March 24 and no trace has been found of her since.
Ms Satchwell, who is originally from Fermoy, left her home that Friday evening and has not been seen or heard from since.
Her disappearance was totally out of character and she was reported missing that evening by her concerned husband, Richard.
A property was examined in Youghal today in connection with the ongoing garda search for Ms Satchwell.
The search included work by members of the Garda Technical Bureau.
Gardai are hoping for clues as to Ms Satchwell's intended movements that evening.
She had left her mobile phone at home when she left and there has apparently been no activity was reported on it since.
Similarly, there has been no apparent activity on her bank account.
However, it is hoped an analysis of her phone records might yield clues as to where she went on March 24.
CCTV security cameras from around Youghal are also being examined to determine where Ms Satchwell may have gone.
Ms Satchwell nee Dingivan is described as being 5”6 in height, of medium build with blue eyes and blonde shoulder length hair.
The disappearance is said by her family to be totally out of character and they are now deeply concerned for her welfare.
