Family must wait to bury tragic Elaine

IT will be several more weeks before the family of tragic Elaine O'Hara will be able to hold a funeral for her.

The Dublin woman's partial remains were recovered last month in the foothills of the Dublin mountains by a woman out walking her dog.

It is feared the 37-year-old met her killer within a few hours of leaving her home at Belarmine Plaza, in Stepaside, Dublin, at around 5pm on August 22 last year.

The family have been told by gardai that a funeral service cannot be held until well into November, due to ongoing searches of the area where Elaine's remains were found.

Anyone with information on the case can contact the Garda incident room in Blackrock on 01-6665200 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800- 666111.
