Former Ireland international Kevin Kilbane (43) has got engaged to his 'Dancing on Ice' partner after two months of dating.
The soccer star popped the question to professional ice-skater Brianne Delcourt (39) after surprising her in a restaurant this week.
The couple, who were partnered on the ITV show in October but were eliminated last weekend, have shared a video of their surprise engagement.
It shows a waiter coming over to the couple with a tray bearing a dessert and an engagement ring and putting it down in front of a shocked-looking Brianne.
Kilbane went down on one knee and proposed to the Canadian pair-skater, who could be heard saying: "Are you serious?" Huge cheers then erupted from the other diners in the restaurant as they shared an embrace.
She posted a picture of her new sparkler with the caption: "He was worth the wait. Kev, you've made me the happiest girl in the world.
"You're my fairytale ending."
Among those who congratulated the happy couple was fellow 'Dancing on Ice' star Maura Higgins and Robbie Keane's other half Claudine.
The couple first started dating in December and said there was an instant attraction there.
The ex-footballer, who played for a string of Premiership clubs including Everton, was previously married to Laura Kilbane with whom he has two daughters.
In a recent interview on Today FM, he said he made the first move.
"I asked her out and she said, 'no' and then it just happened. I genuinely do feel blessed," he said.
