Estonian hitman 'The Butcher' charged after being arrested in Dublin carrying list of key Hutch associates

A notorious hitman who was arrested in Dublin on Tuesday night carrying a list of key Hutch associates, has been charged by gardai.

Suspected hitman Imre Arakas (58) was arrested with two other men on Tuesday night.

Arakas has now been charged under the Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007 by gardai and is due to appear before Dublin District Court, Criminal Courts of Justice this afternoon at 4pm.

The two other men arrested in connection with this investigation have been released from garda custody without charge. A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
