POLICE in Essex have warned people in Ireland to be on the lookout for a man wanted for a double attempted murder.

Francis O’Donoghue is wanted by police for the attempted murder of his two neighbours.

Two men in their 20s sustained gunshot wounds following an incident on a travellers’ site in Navestock at around 3.30pm on August 27th.

The victims sustained injuries to their legs and chest.

Police believe the shooting was the culmination of an ongoing feud which began outside a shop in the Harold Wood area of east London earlier in the day.

Police are following numerous lines of inquiry including dozens of possible sightings, however believe there is a possibility O’Donoghue has travelled to Ireland.

The have urged any members of the public who spot him to contact their local garda station or Essex police on 0044 1245 491491.
