Up to six units from Dublin Fire Brigade (DFB) have been dealing with a significant blaze at an industrial unit in the capital since early this morning.

Emergency services first received a call out in relation to a fire at the Kitchenwise premises on the Kilshane Road, Mulhuddart at approximately 5.10am.

Units from across the north side including Phibsborough, Blanchardstown and an aerial unit from Tara Street as well as a pump from Dolphin’s Barn on the south side attended the scene.

The situation has since been brought under control, with three units currently dealing with the blaze at the scene.

The origin of the fire has as of yet not been established, and an investigation into the blaze will be launched once the blaze is fully dealt with.
