VOTERS will be inundated with election leaflets and canvassers as the competition for votes ramps up over the next 24 days.
Voting will take place on Friday, February 25 to elect 166 TDs in 43 constituencies. Over 380 candidates have pledged to contest the election. Nominations close on February 9.
Every person who is an Irish or British citizen and who is included in the register of electors is entitled to vote. The electorate currently stands at over 3.1 million.
People who are eligible to vote but are not registered as electors still have time to apply for entry in the supplementary register.
