Louth Electoral area: Euro updates

68 percent of Louth Euro tallies are in:

Sinn Fein’s Matt Carthy is well ahead on 32 percent with Mairead McGuinness of Fine Gael polling well to put her in second place on 20 percent.

In third place is Thomas Byrne of Fianna Fail on 13 percent.

The Green’s Mark Dearey is on 9 percent and Luke ‘Ming’ Flanagan (Independent) is on 8.

Independent Ronan Mullen is on 4 percent.

On 3 percent are Labour’s Lorraine Higgins, Fianna Fail’s Pat The Cope Gallaher and Independent Marian Harkin.

DDI’s Ben Gilroy is on 2 percent and then on 1 percent is Fine Gael’s Jim Higgins.

The remaining candidates have not got enough votes to reach the 1 percent quota.
