ONE Dublin-based punter is very confident that Fine Gael will win the most seats in next week's general election.
He has bet a massive €10,000 on that outcome -- to win a mere €200.
The bet was placed with bookies Paddy Power at odds of 1-50.
As a result of the punt, the odds have now been reduced further to 1-66, with Labour drifting out from 12-1 to 25-1, Fianna Fail from 33-1 to 66-1, Sinn Fein from 200-1 to 250-1 and the Greens from 1,000-1.
Also on the drift is a Fine Gael-Labour coalition, with the odds pushed out from 2-7 to 1-3, while the punters have backed a Fine Gael minority government into second favourite at 11-2, with 6-1 against a Fine Gael-Fianna Fail government and 8-1 against a Fine Gael majority administration.
