THERE is currently a minority Government, but potentially enough support to pass the Finance Bill with:
72 Fianna Fail TDs
6 Green Party TDs
4 Independents -- Mary Harney, Michael Lowry, Joe Behan and Jackie Healy-Rae
The opposition to the Finance Bill could include:
51 Fine Gael TDs
21 Labour Party TDs
5 Sinn Fein TDs
4 Independents -- former FF TD Mattie McGrath, former PD TD Noel Grealish, Finian McGrath and Maureen O'Sullivan.
Ceann Comhairle Seamus Kirk is not included as a Government figure as he is the independent chairman of the Dail, but will vote in the event of a tie. But if Mr Lowry and Mr Healy-Rae do not vote with the Government and the opposition get a full turn out, the Bill could be defeated by 81 votes to 79.
