TV3 presenter Vincent Browne said last night he was "surprised" after Labour Party finance spokeswoman Joan Burton accused him of being a sexist bully, writes Ailish O'Hora.
Ms Burton made the claim after the pair clashed on Mr Browne's TV show last week.
Mr Browne asked Ms Burton to stop "haranguing" fellow guest Socialist Party MEP Joe Higgins. But Mr Browne was taken aback by Ms Burton's latest accusations, made over the weekend.
"I am surprised," Mr Browne told the Irish Independent
Ms Burton would not comment further on her accusations. "I'm me. Vincent is Vincent -- he's always got a particular style," she said.
