Hecklers shouted "out, out, out" at outgoing Housing Minister Eoghan Murphy as he entered a count centre this afternoon.

The Fine Gael TD was met with jeering and chanting from activists at the RDS.

People shouted "out, out out" and "Murphy, out, Murphy, out" at the Dublin Bay South candidate.

Mr Murphy arrived flanked by supporters, including his brother Killian Scott, who is best known for his roles in Love/Hate and Dublin Murders.
