l goal five of the sustainable development goals - "Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls" - is the most important goal for long-term development;
l gender equality should be a part of every one of the sustainable development goals.
Entries must be submitted with a completed and signed questionnaire (available at actionaid.ie/speech-writing-competition, either by email to email@example.com or by post to: ActionAid Ireland, 172 Ivy Exchange, Granby Place, Parnell Square, Dublin 1).
