HEAR and DARE advice clinics for individual applications

GIRLS have done it again, with better grades than the boys in the Leaving Certificate.
GIRLS have done it again, with better grades than the boys in the Leaving Certificate.

There are two schemes in place to assist students in overcoming certain disadvantages, one called HEAR and the other, DARE.

Both schemes have seen a steady increase in applications every year since their introduction.

Advice clinics for both HEAR and DARE will take place on January 10, between 10am and 2pm. There will be an opportunity to ask about individual applications.

Locations include: UCC, DIT Aungier street, Villa Rose Hotel Donegal, NUI Galway, Maynooth University, University of Limerick, Glencarn Hotel Castleblaney, Athlone IT, Glasshouse Hotel Sligo.

Extra Clinics will be held around the country on these dates:

Jan 15

The Fels Point Hotel, Tralee 7-9pm

Ferrycarrig Hotel, Wexford 2-7.30pm

Jan 21

Trinity College Dublin, Rm3074, Arts Building 6-8pm
