Dubs set for Bali holiday as Gavin and Brogan go on last team trip

Dublin's record-breaking five-in-a-row All Ireland-winning footballers have chosen Bali as the exotic destination for their annual holiday together.

The squad and back-room staff are set to take off this weekend for Asia.

It will be Jim Gavin's last foreign trip with the Blues, with Dessie Farrell having recently taken his first team meeting as manager.

It will also be the last time Bernard Brogan will join his team-mates on such a trip after his recent retirement.

Dublin have been on numerous far-flung trips in recent years, among them to South Africa, America and the Caribbean.

The team is expected to return for the O'Byrne Cup semi-final on January 11.
