Dublin Fire Brigade to the rescue again as they deliver baby Matilda
Dublin Fire Brigade proved to be heroes yet again as they helped deliver baby Matilda.
The baby girl was delivered with the help of the Swords fire and ambulance crew.
Trainee David Doran (31) helped the mum deliver the baby by guiding her through the process.
"The mum did all the work, we just assisted," said Dublin Fire Brigade.
"A trainee emergency services controller guided the family before the arrival of our fire engine and ambulance. He was being mentored at the time. The ambulance had an advanced paramedic and a trainee paramedic from Dublin airport fire service on board doing his internship."
According to Dublin Fire Brigade the mum and baby are both doing well.
Recently the fire brigade delivered baby Aubrey who was born just in time for Christmas.
