Dublin Bus strike will cost €5.5m
This month's six-day strike at Dublin Bus will cost the company up to €5.5m.
As 400,000 passengers are affected by the strike today, thousands of extra cars will flood roads in the capital causing bottlenecks on feeder routes and main roads into the city centre. Traffic black spots have been identified on roads into the city from suburban areas lacking Luas or Dart services.
Meanwhile, Transport Minister Shane Ross has met with just two of the country's main public transport bodies since taking office over four months ago.
