DSPCA flooded with calls over rescued pups
AN animal rescue centre housing 36 puppies found in the back of two cars has been "inundated with offers" from the public to adopt the animals.
The discovery was made after gardai stopped the cars on the Old Malahide Road in Dublin on Tuesday night.
"We received 32 emails today alone from people all over the country," explained Gillian Bird from the Dublin Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
The puppies are being treated for a range of medical conditions and won't be put up for adoption for at least another 10 days. Anyone interested should email email@example.com.
