Irish drugs mule Michaella McCollum is set to land a presenter role on a new prime-time show focusing on prisoners.
The Tyrone woman, who was convicted of smuggling 11kg of cocaine worth €2 million in 2013, arrived in England this week for talks.
It is understood she is keen to get into media following her release from a Peruvian prison.
McCollum flew into Liverpool's John Lennon Airport on Thursday to meet TV bosses to discuss the role.
The Irish Daily Mail reports that the new show will delve into unsolved or unusual crime cases around the world and will include interviews with prisoners on death row.
Pictures of McCollum walking on a beach in Spain were recently published.
She then took to social media to hit back at her critics.
"For those who did not like the bikini pictures published heres 3 enjoy!! Embrace what you have," she wrote on her Instagram account alongside new holiday pictures.
McCollum (24) was freed last March and returned to Ireland in August.
Both her and Melissa Reid were convicted for attempting to smuggle drugs in their suitcase from Lima in Peru.
The pair are also reportedly in talks to star in Big Brother.
