GARDAI are to submit a file to the DPP over the death of an Englishman in west Cork.
Mark Corbett (53) was found at the bottom of a steep embankment in Bantry on the evening of September 7.
The father of two was discovered in the Seskin area of the west Cork town.
Locals had reported an argument between a number of men who had apparently been drinking together that evening.
The Irish Independent understands that the dead man had injuries which were not consistent with having been sustained in a fall down the embankment.
A 68-year-old man was subsequently questioned by gardai in connection with a suspected assault on Mr Corbett.
