IT nestles in the grounds of a sprawling necropolis of more than one million burials, and is fast becoming a major tourist attraction.
Now Glasnevin Cemetery Museum has gone all "ghastly" with the launch of its latest exhibition on the gruesome history of death and burial in 19th Century Dublin.
'Ghastly Glasnevin' features pictures and stories from historian Shane Mac Thomais about the cemetery's history, including the notorious graverobbers.
'Ghastly Glasnevin' opens today and runs until November 7. Our picture shows Gary O'Connor, Daniel Byrne, Craig O'Rourke and Dylan Kelly Fitzgerald, all from nearby St Vincent's Primary School, at the launch yesterday.
