Did you drop your wages in Dublin City Centre? Woman looking to reunite owner with 'paypack'
A woman is looking to find the owner of a brown 'paypack' after she found it on the street in Dublin City Centre.
Leah Cecilia Tierney found the brown envelope, containing a large sum of money, on Mary Street yesterday.
"We were going to drop the paypack into the guards but we didn't know if they would investigate it. I thought the best thing to do would be to put an appeal up on Facebook to see if I could find the owner," Leah told Independent.ie.
"It's usually young people who get paypacks like this so I thought they'd be more likely to check social media rather than go into the guards. People are always sharing missing dogs so I was hoping they would share my post too."
Leah said that there is a name on the front of the envelope but no other details.
"I'll keep the envelope until the owner comes forward. I'll wait a couple of weeks and if nobody gets in touch I'll donate it to charity. At least if I can't get the money back to the owner, the money will go to a good cause."
If you think the missing wages are yours, you can contact Leah on Facebook.
