Detectives appeal for information after 'unexplained' death of man (24)

Detectives are appealing for help from the public following the unexplained death of a man.

Police in Newry are trying to trace the last movements of Padraig O'Hanlon (24) who was found dead in his home in Warrenpoint, Co Down early this morning.

Mr O'Hanlon was out on Saturday morning and returned to his home at approximately 4pm. He was found dead in his home at 3am on Sunday, according to detectives.

The cause of death is not yet known but a post-mortem examination is due to be carried out.

Police are trying to discover if something happened on Saturday that may have had a bearing on his death.

Police are asking anyone with information or details of Mr O'Hanlon's final hours to come forward.
