Detectives from the national drug unit raided a premises in a business park

The death of a woman whose body was discovered in a burnt out car is not being treated as suspicious.

The woman was found in a vehicle in a car park in Eadestown, Co Kildare, at approximately 11.30am.

 

A Garda spokesman said her death is being treated as a personal tragedy.

 

The woman was in her 50s and had been living in the area.

 

Forensic examinations are taking place at the scene and the body will be removed to Naas General Hospital for a post-mortem examination.

 

Gardai at Naas are investigating and have appealed to anyone who may have been in the area of Eadestown at the time to come forward.
