Date for fatal crash report

THE cause of a crash that killed two pilots when their Air Corps plane went down in Connemara, Co Galway, should be completed and published by June.

Two crewmen lost their lives when the Air Corps Pilatus PC-9 crashed into a mountain at Crumlin near the village of Cornamona on October 12.

Captain Derek Furniss (32) from Rathfarnham, Dublin, and Cadet David Jevens (22), from Glynn, Co Wexford, died in the crash.
