Irish Rail commuters are facing 20-minute delays this morning following an incident in the capital.

There are delays to both northbound and southbound DART services due to the bridge strike at Grand Canal Dock.

Meanwhile, earlier this morning, motorists faced a seven kilometre tailback on one of the country's busiest roads.

The traffic delays were caused by a collision on the N11 northbound after Junction 10 Delgany.

Traffic was reduced to one lane following the incident.

The incident has now since been cleared and "heavy traffic" in the area has ceased, according to AA Roadwatch.

Elsewhere, in Dublin, Kilshane Avenue is closed between Kilshane Cross and Cappagh Rd R/A due to an incident.

Motorists are being asked to use alternative routes.
