Tom Brady and Brian Hutton

GARDAI believe that missing criminal Philip O'Toole has been abducted by former associates after a row and fear he may be dead.

Officers believe the dad of one, who turned 33 yesterday, was lured to a location in Bray, Co Wicklow, and taken away without a struggle.

The missing man's father, Brendan O'Toole, yesterday appealed to anyone who had information about his son's whereabouts to contact gardai at Bray.

Brendan O'Toole said: "His birthday is today and his mother is very upset. We would like him back home."

O'Toole was well known to gardai and had previously survived a gun attack in August 2011.

He is described as 5ft 7ins tall, weighs 11 stone, of medium build and has short, brown hair.
