Cyclists hit the road for LauraLynn

A group of 125 cyclists went on a 135km sponsored cycle from Dublin to Kilkenny yesterday to raise funds for the LauraLynn Foundation, Ireland's children's hospice. The cyclists set out at 9.30am from Pearse Street garda station in Dublin city centre. The charity cycle was organised by Garda Sandra Brennan – and Chief Supt Michael O'Sullivan saw them off. Pictured, right, are Aisling O'Brien and Jennifer Gilbert, from Dublin, just before they set out on the journey to Kilkenny.
