Man (20s) arrested in connection with investigation into stolen car and cash

A man has been arrested in connection with an investigation into a burglary in the early hours of this morning.

The robbery happened at a retail premises in Stepaside, Dublin.

Gardai were called to the scene at around 2.30am and found that money and some stock had been taken.

Two men were seen leaving the scene in a silver car that had previously been reported stolen.

At around 3.30am Garda arrested a man (early 20s) in the St Patrick's Crescent area of Dun Laoghaire, who was seen running from a car matching the description of the vehicle involved.

He is being held at Dun Laoghaire Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1994.
