Two loaded guns seized by gardai in an operation on Friday night in Dublin are linked to the Hutch mob.

The firearms were seized by members of the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau at a residence in Dublin's north inner city on Friday, January 12.

Gardai are hunting for a man in his 50s who was not arrested at the scene of the raid.

The guns were primed and ready for use against a local rival who is involved with the Kinahan cartel.

Eddie Hutch Snr, a 59-year-old taxi driver, was gunned down on Poplar Row in February 2016, while Gary Hutch (34) was shot dead in Spain in 2015.

It was the killing of Gary Hutch by members of the Kinahan gang that sparked the gangland war in 2015.

Another relative, Gareth Hutch (36), was shot dead outside the Avondale House flat complex in the north-inner city in May 2016.
